William Byrd Jr.

Mr. Byrd has had extensive higher and post-graduate education in business, law enforcement and agriculture in Maryland, California and Georgia. He has over 32 years of experience working with the Federal government, where he served as the focal point of determining the planning, programming and implementing of grants to States, for the improvement of elements that help reduce death, injury and property/environmental damage. Mr. Byrd has extensive knowledge and skills in developing programs for the improvement of human welfare and safety.

Mr. Byrd has received numerous awards for his outstanding work and results, including the President's cabinet level award known as the Secretary's Award (for outstanding service).

Now retired from government service, Mr. Byrd is living in Melbourne, Florida.
