Childrens Rainbow Mountain Retreat Referrals

Step 1: Referral
To protect the privacy of potential children and families, we only accept referrals from state agencies, medical professionals, parents/legal guardians and children themselves. Children who have reached the age of 2½ and are under the age of 18 at the time of referral may be eligible for a therapeutic dream retreat.

Step 2: Medical Eligibility
We determine a child's eligibility with the help of the treating physician, a state agency, and our staff. To receive a retreat, the child must have been abused, have a medically diagnosed special needs, experienced severe trauma or be diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, i.e., a progressive, degenerative or malignant condition that is currently placing that child's life in jeopardy. We may determine a child's medical eligibility with the help of the treating physician.

Step 3: Retreat Schedules
Retreats are scheduled based on demand in the area and availability of funding by sponsors.
